With election season coming up, and me running for re-election, there may be some questions as to what the council has done during my first term. Well, to cover everything that has been passed in the last 4 years would be a bit overwhelming, so I'm going to do an overview to show ways this council has championed Russellville while I've been in office.
Infrastructure + Streets
Approved multiple street drainage improvement projects.
Approved contracts for downtown streetscape improvements.
Approved roadway resurfacing and maintenance appropriations.
Approved bridge and drainage engineering agreements.
Approved utility easement and right-of-way dedications for development projects.
Public Safety
Approved purchases of police and fire department equipment.
Supported funding for emergency communications equipment.
Approved participation in the Arkansas Weather Watchers camera network.
Supported capital purchases for emergency response departments.
Parks + Recreation
Approved funding for:
Tennis court resurfacing
New parks department vehicles

Park maintenance equipment
